Acorn season

A rainy Bank Holiday Monday today. Out on the Rec yesterday for a large gathering of Claygatians and it seems that acorn season has begun.

Hands

I did this one as a blind sketch of hands when we were in Wales with the Perrins and added a bit of shading this evening to create some contrast. Not sure exactly why I like it but it feels a bit looser than I normally manage. You can see the shadow of a sunflower on the right hand page.
